Welcome to Bill & Ted's Excellent Astro-Picture pages. These pages have absolutely nothing to do with the totally excellent movies about our namesakes, Bill and Ted. It just so happens that our names are also Bill and Ted - we are Bill & Ted, the Astronomers - most excellent!
We are into astronomy and in particular we like to take pictures of the sky. Over the years we've learned a lot of tricks and methods while accumulating a most excellent image library - well, at least we think it is most excellent. And it is always in need of improvement. Your ideas and input are appreciated.
Use of Images
Ted's a lawyer in real life. Bill's a computer scientist. Although these images are provided free of charge for your enjoyment and education on the web - please note that is the only valid use of them. Do not copy or use them without first contacting us for permission. Remember, Ted is a lawyer, he sues for a living.
About these Images
Every image here was created by us using our own equipment (or as otherwise specified). During the past "few" years we've used and abused a variety of equipment. Any opinions expressed are our own. The telescopes and cameras change over the years but the stars remain the same - we just manage to get more in the images thanks to an ever increasing level of technology. Our hats are off to all those that have contributed to our knowledge and the quality of stuff that is out there.
