2015 Isle of Man Special release signed by the artist, Alan Bean.
In addition to the 1,500 limited edition Isle of Man cover there is another variant … this one is limited to 1,000 and is signed by Alan Bean. Since I had No.302 of the standard 1,500 edition I asked for No.302 of the 1,000 edition and here’s a scan of the card explaining why Alan Bean is involved.
The Isle of Man post office collectable folder for the eclipse also includes a Faroe Islands FDC postcard Although the Isle of Man did not experience totality, they had 92.8% and took the opportunity to issue an interesting cover with some rather unique 8:26AM, 9:32AM and 10:39AM postmarks. - Courtesy of Tim Collins
